Step 1:Create a twitter account if you don't have one, fill out your profile and upload a picture. In the bio section of you profile you have to put a link back to website along with some info about your website or your self.
Step 2: You have to build a list of interested followers. This can be done real easy all you have to do is find popular blogs and websites in your niche and see if they have a twitter page. Then you simply follow that website or blog and follow the people that are following them. Out of every 100 people you follow about 40 of them will follow you back.I recommend that you follow no more than 500 people a day or twitter may ban your account for excessive following. There are also some really good websites out there that can help you get lot of followers fast with out getting baned.
step 3:Keep repeating step 2 and over time you will build a list of highly targeted twitter followers that are more likely to visit your website and click on your links. I recently wrote a post on how to get free traffic from facebook you should check it out.
